On Friday, August 15th, 2025, the Red and Black Football Booster Club is thrilled to host our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at the Riverside Golf Course in Sherwood Park, AB. This exciting event is an integral part of our mission to raise crucial funds for the Salisbury Sabres Bursary Program, which provides financial assistance to graduating football players who are pursuing post-secondary education.

Since its inception in 2012, the Red and Black Football Booster Club has proudly awarded over

45 bursaries to deserving Salisbury Sabres football alumni. These bursaries have helped support former players who have dedicated a minimum of two years to the team and are now continuing their education at universities, colleges, or through apprenticeships. The bursary program has been instrumental in giving these young athletes the opportunity to pursue higher education while honoring their commitment to the Salisbury Sabres football family.

We are immensely proud of the growth of this initiative and the difference it has made in the lives of our athletes. Over the years, we have seen many Salisbury Sabres alumni return to support the next generation, showcasing the strong, enduring bonds formed through years of teamwork and dedication. We have witnessed multiple generations of players, parents, alumni, and community members coming together to support a cause that is much larger than just football. Your involvement—whether as a sponsor, participant, or volunteer—has a direct, positive impact on our athletes’ futures.

This tournament is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of the spirit of community, teamwork, and dedication that has defined the Salisbury Sabres since day one.
